Westview Baptist Church

The Psalmist tells us, "God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble."

Visitors' FAQ’s

When is the main worship service?

Every Sunday at 10 AM.

What should I wear?

Dress mode is casual.

What are your services like?

WBC's services focus mostly on worship through music and preaching. We’ll share some announcements during the morning, sing songs, and hear a teaching from the Bible. The music is mostly contemporary in style.

Will there be an opportunity to be prayed for?

Prayer teams are always available after every service at the front of the sanctuary to pray with those who desire a touch from God.

Will there be an opportunity to meet and greet people?

Our Sundays begin at 9:30 AM with coffee  &  muffins. People are encouraged to come early to meet and greet and to linger after the service. Refreshments are usually available until noon.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything, or be singled out?

Rest assured that you won't be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed. Though we do receive an offering, we don't want anyone to feel obligated to give. We do have a gift for guests who are visiting for the first time. This may be picked up at the information desk in the lobby.

What about my kids?

A staffed nursery is available for children up to the age of 2. Pagers are available for parents and if their child needs them, they will be paged.

Our Children's Church programs occur during the 10 AM service. All have age-appropriate bible teaching, music and games.

  • Pre-school program (2 years-kindergarten)

  • Kidzone program for children grades 1-4

  • Junior Church, grades 5-8

For your peace of mind: All our staff are over 19 years of age and have had a criminal record check.
